Privacy Policy

Before the Groom 

Please ensure that your dog has been allowed to go to the toilet, and please advise if your dog has any existing medical issues 

Fleas and parasites 

Please ensure that your dog is flea and parasite for before visiting the salon.  If you use a flea spot on treatment on your dog, please allow at least 48 hours before having them groomed .  If I find that your dog has fleas during the groom, I will bath them in an anti parasite shampoo but there will be an charge of £10 to cover the use of flea shampoo and the extra clean up time and fumigation of the salon 

Dematting policy 

I will attempt to remove matting for 15 minuets or for as long as tolerated before it distresses your dog. If the matting is too sever, in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, a clip off will be required. I will discuss this with you before hand and there may be an additional charge to cover time. Clipping off the coat may cause after effects which may include skin redness or irritations, I will not be held liable for this 

Termination of the groom 

I reserve the right to terminate a groom for  the health and safety of your dog or myself.  If your dog attempts to bit me I will use the relevant restraints to finish the groom but I will terminate it if the dogs behaviour persist or gets worse.  Please inform me if your dog has ever bitten anybody or has aggressive tendencies.  You understand and agree that you will be held liable for any unjust or damage to myself or my property caused by your dog 

Cancellations 

This a a small business and every cancellation or no show has a large impact.  If you cancel your appointment with 48 hours you will be subject to a 50% charge on the groom fee, If you cancel within 24 hours you will be subject to 100% of the groom fee. 

Complaints 

If you are not happy with the groom for any reason please contact me as soon as possible (not more the 48 hours) and I will be happy to discuss this with you and hopefully rectify the problem. 

Veterinary treatment 

For some dogs, grooming procedures can be stressful, and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. If the need arises I will obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your dog should it be deemed necessary, and it is agreed that all expenses for Veterinary care will be covered by the owner upon signing this contract/agreement.

As a part of Data Protection Act (GDPR) it is necessary for us to inform you of the information we keep about you and your pet, how it is used and stored and to receive permission for specific information to be stored and used.

In the salon the following information is stored in online format:

● Details you have given to us about you: your name, your address, your phone number(s) and e-mail address
● Details you have given to us about your dog: name, birthday,, breed, coat type, gender etc.
● Details of what we have done to your dog - blades, combs used, where we have scissored, nails     trimmed, date of the visits etc.
● Any likes or dislikes of your dog e.g sensitive feet, like treats etc.
dog`s grooming temperament - good, nervous, hard, biter etc
● Any medical problems (lumps, bumps, warts, heart murmur etc.)

Online format is protected by password.

If you move your are welcome to take these details with you to give it to your new groomer

Any non-returning customer information will be inactive after 1 year.

● To send appointment reminders, new appointment confirmation, cancellation, rebook reminder, agreement, pet birthday reminder via email or/and text,

● To ask you for reviewing us
● For market research purpose

● To contact you in connection with your appointment, dog collection or drop off, cancellations or rescheduling
